The JAX Biomedical Data Science in Context program (BDSC) is a two week program (January 3 to January 17, 2026) designed to help student * build foundational technical skills for using data science in solving biomedical problems;* build confidence in their ability to use data science skills in solving biomedical problems; and * have ideas for next steps for working on a biomedical data science project at their home institution. The BDSC will be held at The Jackson Laboratory in Bar Harbor, Maine. All admitted students receive full scholarships to pay for student travel to Maine as well as housing and meals during the program. The application for the 2026 JAX Biomedical Data Science in Context (BDSC) Program is due on or before October 15, 2025 5:00pm Eastern Standard Time (EST). Application materials received after the posted deadline will be considered late and may not be reviewed. We advise giving your recommenders ample time to provide a thoughtful letter.
